"You're choosing the one you'll excel at!" Longear complained, but burst into song, making up the words as he went,

"Birds sing, and wind blows,
While I look up,
The breeze slows,
And my soup I sup.
The blues and reds,
Swirl into the sky.
As away I treads,
I think what it must be a bird to fly.
Soaring against the clouds,
With wind under wings,
Away from all the crowds,

To fly where the wind does blow."

Longear bowed, "Like it? Can't do much more as I haven't flown."

Rausse suppressed a snicker and whispered under his breath, "You gave 'em choice of the topic goofy fox, a' course he's gonna choose an advantageous topic."

  Adam smiled again.  "You are a very good singer my friend.  I'm not the best at making up lyrics, but I'll give it a shot!"  He flapped his wings and did a beautiful dance, weaving his way through the air as he sang.

 "Flying so high in the sky,
 I've never felt so free!
 Oh, I'm so glad I'm a bird
 'Cause it's a marvelous thing to be!

 When you're flying high in the sky,
 There's so many things to do!
 You can dance, you can sing
 You can do anything in the blue!"

 Adam landed on the last note of the song.  He thought it was pretty good for just making it up on the spot.  "Well?  Who's better?"  He didn't really care who won, he was just too happy and cheerful.  He got to express his feelings for the sky in such a beautiful way, so why should he worry if he won?

  Ari backed up, shoving his paws in front of him.  "Hey, do not include me in this!  Ask someone else please."

  OOC:  Dan, if you want you could have Rausse come in and announce the winner.  I don't want to answer because I'd probably have a very biased answer lol.

Rausse decided to expand on feeling these beasts out by proclaiming his answer aloud before HIDING, "I'd have to say you tied, the owls' song was slightly better, but he a bit of an unfair advantage." The wolf promptly his in the surrounding woodlands.

  Ari and Adam both started.  "Who is there?"  Ari ran up to the battlements, searching the forest for the eavesdropper.  "Come out!"
 Adam turned to Longear and grinned.  That was a spectacular feat for one with a beak.  "I guess whoever spoke was the judge.  Yes, I admit that I had an advantage, but hey, you told me to choose!  You're song was beautiful though, for one who has never experienced flying."

Sweiff allowed himself a chuckle before responding, "Come out you say? I tend not to obey harsh commandants. Besides, you'd have a fit if you DID see me."

"Please come out, sir, so we may know who you are."

These beasts seemed peaceful enough... Then again, they probably hadn't seen a wolf before, "Hmmmm... I'll have to pass on that for now, like I said, I wouldn't want to scare you."

Longear snorted, "You wouldn't scare us, as long as you're not a vermin. I scared them, just 'cause I'm a fox. You don't sound like a vermin."

Rausse decided to let them have a taste of his more natural deep stentorion voice, " I'm fairly sure that a voice can be masked, as can appearance."
