yar har! load 'em and lob 'em, I say!! can't wait!  ---side note on redwall technology - it's too bad Brian Jacques never introduced gunpowder in any of the RW stories - it's so hard to be a proper pirate without a row of 16 pounders sticking out of the side of the ship - no warning shots fired across the bow - arghh! what be this manner of torture!  'tis surely devilish, indeed!

@BrookSkimmer: Is there any way the Bloodspine crew could've traveled "somewhere East" and found gunpowder? But since they all die or get captured in the end no one ever finds out?

We're not sure if you guys all die and get captured, and technically you wouldn't be allowed to since gunpowder is non-canon (pardon the pun).

There's already been some discussion on that in the Swords discussion thread. Basically, you should wait until the last round if you want to kill off your character.

I'm going to be ticked, evil never wins out (ever) it's a fact that's been proven time and again, Hitler, powerful as he was, was defeated, Mussolini, Stalin, Cluny, Swartt. It just wouldn't fit right.

I've volunteered, too. Thing is, I actually kind-of want to kill off my character in a meaningful way. It's just in her nature to die protecting someone...

Is it going to be something like whichever side has more points collectively wins? A competition within a competition? 'Cause that would be awesome!

I kinda wish some RPers had been slaves aboard the Bloodspine. Oh I just hit one of my idea light bulbs!!! How about, in round three, *excited voice* some beast, maybe me, got captured and there was a fight to free them...swords of freedom.... Any way, thoughts?
