If you think Xbalantie would work better on shore, we could have Liv get captured with Spera instead...it almost makes more sense for Liv to be captured, but what do you think, Dan?

Wow.... Was I really that bad at expressing my point? It makes no difference WHO gets caught, it's still going to be tricky to post in general.  And no way! I fought to have this position!  Besides, Liv would be working on the ballista, meaning she'd have to be on top of the cliffs, I'm making a resin replacement to burn midst water, I will probably be going up and down the cliffs, making more sense for me to notice what's going on.

A ship is one thing to see in a storm, a discreet kidnapping is quite another, I doubt that you'd be able to make out what was going on from that height. 

I'm just trying to make sure I don't end up having to "lame post" and then have those judged just because I had no opportunity to post something worth judging.

Actually, I had another thought. Yes, Xbalantie gets captured the way Brook has it in her post (or however the players involved decide she should be captured).
I think Liv, Spera, and Frost should go to the Hall of Dawnlight and make a general announcement that there are vermin near at paw. Liv should then take any who wish to help fight to the cave where we keep our extra weapons (I'm assuming we have one of those!) to gear up so to speak. Spera and Frost should make sure everyone else gets to the refuge cave. After that, Spera will have some reason (to be invented later) for leaving the Hall of Dawnlight which is when she'll be captured along with Xbalantie. And, of course, Liv and the others will be just in time to see them get captured and will have to watch helplessly as they head back to the ship.
I have no clue what everyone else is doing at this point.

The storm is no longer a storm in this round. It's patchy rain clouds, mists, and some sunlight at this point.

You guys can take whatever creative liberty you want with your posts but go ahead and start posting and we'll see where the story goes.

@Redwaller: You're character is on the ship so you will post about what he is up to there.

We need to roll as it is, what bugs me is the fact that I'm supposed to go with no violent contact, AND I'm going to have a hard time making important posts.

So, my understanding is that Xbalantie works at the ballista until they run out of something which sends Xbalantie running for that thing. While she's down below she sees the vermin capturing Spera and tries to fight to free Spera. The way I see it, Xbalantie is fighting so hard that the vermin realize the only way to make it out alive is to use Spera against Xbalantie.
In other words, I don't think Xbalantie is going down without a fight.
We really do need to get this moving, so I'm gonna post. If I end up posting something that someone doesn't like, let me know and I'll change it.

Oh....yeah.....hm.....maybe you should pm Brook about it. I'm sure you can work something out.

Don't worry about the disallowing of violence. I will say that is because the third round of the tournament will be duels between various characters. If violence takes place in this round that's totally fine!

And, good job Plugg and Icefire for getting posts up!  Just start posting and roll with it everyone. I'm sure everything will work out fine so just go ahead and start posting.
