No way. No guns should be in Redwall. For one thing, all the battles would be over in like five seconds (with everybeast slaughtered), and for another, there wouldn't be as many exciting swordfights!

Rusvul

There already are weapons from the era of flintlocks, such as the shrew's rapiers. And a slow lead bullet could be stopped by a thick shield or heavy armor. Just saying. It's not out of period or extremely OP as long as you stick with flintlocks.
