Things to know...  (ah that saved room haha)

1) please DO NOT make a character that is in any other RPs or books. This includes any relations as well.
2)There will be more books to this series, so if you character gets removed from the story he can appear in another book. If he/she dies you can make another character in the next book.
3)No over experienced characters.
4) I'm not a fan of this number, so it doesn't get a rule.
5) There will be none of these in my RP, read below.

"Gero jumped out of the second story window, rolled and kept running. Arrows flew by as he made his escape." That's just unrealistic, common people.

"Gero jumped out of the second story window, rolled and kept running. Arrows flew by while one pieced his leg." More like it dontcha think?

"Gero was limping because of the arrow in his leg. Three guards come around the corner, pulling out his knife he threw it and killed the first. The second came and Gero grabbed the arrow out of his leg and stabbed the second. The third fled." No no no no.

"Gero was limping because of the arrow in his leg. Three guards come around the corner, pulling out his knife he threw it. Because of the pain and trauma of what happen the knife only landed in the arm of the first guard. The second ran over and finished Gero off." No way is one wounded person going to escape or kill three guards. Let's be real here.

6)If you are going to die, go out in style. I will permit a death curse or death god mode (Be realistic please) Sometimes it is time for your character to die, for instance if you don't like how it's going. If you want a different character in the next book, ect. A death god mode would be like this

Even though being shot with arrows Boromir is still up and fighting, yes he is hurt and dying. But he stands through it to kill more so that others may live. This is a fine example of a death god mode, and I encourage players to do so if the time is right. Now a death curse is a magical spell that, once your character is killed, will kill all foes around in a certain area.
7) Once character please.

Please make a character, but take this into thought first. Your character is not a warrior. He/she is not out fighting people and doing wars or whatever. He/she is a learner and is coming to this island to learn the most amazing knowledge in their topic of learning.

Three knocks hit against Zwelly's dorm door. Getting up he eyed the peep hole, no beast was to be seen, but a small package was lying by the door. After grabbing the package he locked the door and opened this strange box. "No one ever sends me mail..." Zwelly murmured while opening it. A small piece of parchment lay inside. To begin it appeared to be blank, but after his paw made contact unique markings begin to appear. He never knew this language, yet he was able to read it...

"Dear Zwelly,
                             We, here at the island of Icartaria, have accepted your request to join our community. Please pack only necessities, and bring none other. At our schooling community you will be able to learn in more depth of your current interest. Please see back of parchment for directions too ou-"

Without finishing the letter Zwelly flipped the paper over and the back started to show a map towards a destination far off... it even showed him on the map, in his dorm. "What the...." He murmured.  He never sent a request to any place, and how did they know his academic studies? None the less he felt honored and begin to pack immediately.

Ok y'all that's similar how all of you received invitations, no need to post yourself receiving them. Just make your first post be something about you ridding on a boat towards the island. All of you have traveled very, very far to get here. (Obviously you can't post till I get the RP up, but for when it is.)

Name: Inferno Smokebrush

Species: Fox squirrel (this is a legitimate species, and they're larger than greys)

Age: 20 1/2

Gender: Male

The grey (back and sides) is very dark, like smoke, and the golden area (belly) is a more garish orange, like the ambient light cast by flames. He wears a mottled grey tunic, trousers, and long sleeves with a hood that can hide his primary facial features, as well as wearing a light grey pair of finger less gloves and matching, thin boots. He's of medium build, but focuses greatly on tone as he uses speed more than anything else. His eyes are the color of flames with an almost ashen appearance to the black section.

Personality: Fiery when aroused, but is generally quite calm. Likable, but a tad to the quiet side with those he doesn't know. Has a good sense of humor, and cares for those he calls his friends.

Backstory: He never tells anyone.... But that story could come out soon.

Topic of Study (only one): Martial Arts/Magic

Other: Fast and stealthy, doesn't like staying in the open.

RainShadow Lucia "Lu" Warren

Name:  Lucia "Lu" Warren

Species:  American pine marten (there's a difference.  Wink)

Age:  15

Gender:  Female

Appearance:  Lucia, or Lu, as she's called, is a rather pretty she-marten, with dark brown fur and a slight frame.  She's petite and quite fragile, making her look younger than she actually is.
 For her clothing, Lu wears a short navy blue dress with a simple pattern, and light brown leggings underneath.  She has a wide brown buckle belt, with a small satchel attached to one side.  This holds money, which she lacks.  And finally, she wears a pale grey/green cloak when traveling.

Personality:  Shy and socially awkward, Lucia isn't the one to take to parties.  No, when other beasts are partying, you'll usually find her in her room, talking to herself or reading a book.  She prefers books to live beasts.
 If you can get past that, Lu is actually quite sweet, but she doesn't quite talk enough to get anybeast to like her.

Backstory:  Lu has a pretty normal backstory, if you forget about the small fact that her family was cruel.  Lu was the unwanted child, so her parents forced her into silence unless she was spoken to.  Sheila, her mother, skipped one of her meals if she stepped out of line, and Garr, her father, beat her regularly.  On top of that, the she-marten's three siblings, all boys, treated her like she was dirt for them to tread on.

Topic of Study:  Health, magical.

Other:  Lu has several bruises and scars from where her father beat her, but she tries her best to hide them.

Description: Screet never tries to mess up, but it just happens, he has serious ADD and is always moving about

Redwallgurl Machara

Name: Machara Frost

Species: Mouse

Age: 15 seasons

Gender: Female

Appearance: Fierce hazel eyes clearly express her emotions. She's of average height, maybe a little smaller (but she's already a mouse). Machara has completely brown fur with white fur on her right paw.

Personality: A strong determined mouse who doesn't want to be confined to just simple "girl" tasks. Beasts might say she has an "attitude problem" but she just wants to prove herself and make a difference. Extremely caring and puts other beasts ahead of herself.

Backstory: Machara is from a simple ordinary family. Her parents were always very protective and liked to monitor almost everything Machara got into. Her father had a simple job with some power but wasn't the leader of the village. Machara's parents wanted a simple ordinary job as a dutiful wife.

Faiyloe Grace Wenesra

Gender: Female

Appearance: tall for a Squirrel with white fur with a black streak on her forehead and blue eyes. She wares a navy blue tunic with a white cord belt and a small satchel or pouch attached to the belt and a chocolate brown  cloak

Personality: Impulsive. Sentimental, will hold on to the oddest things, her room at home is filled with things other people would call trash. She has her own set of morals and she fallows them dutifully. If she needs something she will not hesitate to ask (Even if you are teacher or a superior).  A total extrovert you'll find her right out there with everyone and can make friends with the most unlikely people. She is a giver and will do a lot for a person asking only there friendship in return. Some people might call her teachers pet (She will not hesitate to tattle and she is the type to get to class early just so she can help the teacher) but then again some might call she socially open (she will hang out with anyone that will have her but that doesn't make her despite just not picky) 

Backstory: She is the oldest of a family of 7 she didn't want to go at first but she decided she needed to get out more and meet new people and experiences something new. The truth was that she was lonely and she hadn't bean getting along with her father and she need to go away by her self for a bit. (well not by her self really just with out them) 
Topic of Study: Health/Magic (The one thing she want's to do most is help people)

Other: Is a little bit of an artist she is very modest about it and is better than she thinks. She is she doesn't like other people looking at her art with out her explicit permission.  She is also easily startled just a tap on the shoulder from behind would do it.

Ok so some stuff to throw out there, since you both chose something magical I must add this. I read a lot about magic in books and I've come up with my own summery about how it is used but I'll add it up later. (Everyone read the following, even if its not your name)
1) Danflorubuguba: Since you'll be using "magic martial arts" you must remember that your magic must be drawn from somewhere. Either someone who knows how to "buffer" (cast magic onto you, for your own benefit." or you can draw the magic from your own power or from a enchanted item. If you are being buffed then there is no draw backs from you at all. If it is from your own power, then you must finish off you enemy or stop using your power before you over draw(over drawn and blood will start coming from your ears and nose. Then you pass out.) If you are using an enchanted item then you don't need to use your own or someone else' magic, it will be pulled from an item(enchanted items can be used up, they are not endless. And if you over draw the item will shatter, but you will not be set back at all. The problem is that enchanted items tend to be way weaker than raw magic.).

2) Rainshadow Since you choose "health magic" you must too use your own power to fuel your ability's. An enchanted item will help you while using most of your powers(only people studying "science magic" can enchant items). But don't forget Rainshadow... Your power is more than to just improve someones health, it can also be used to directly harm it.

Your power is more than to just improve someones health, it can also be used to directly harm it.

  Just to make sure I understand this correctly, I'm more of the 'buffer' class that would supply buffs to the others?  Also, I know I can heal, that much is obvious, but what else are health magic users able to do?  You said that I can also harm someone, but I'm not totally sure what you mean by that.  (Not that you didn't explain it, I just don't get things through my thick skull too quickly.  )

  Oh, and thanks!  I'm thinking I'm gonna very much enjoy my character as well.

We all start with nothing, including knowledge of magic which makes possession of an enchanted item OP and illogical.

@Psybox What Dan said is true, you have no knowledge of how to obtain an enchanted item, so you can't have one.

@Rainshadow Your class is probably one of my favorite classes. It has so many possibilities, such as...

1) You can heal yourself and others via magic.
2) You can cause illness to others via magic, which makes it 99% untraceable. Besides, sometimes a disease is more harmful than a sword.
3) You can boost the stamina, strength, agility and a lots more with your power to not only yourself, but to others before you enter a fight or perform something which seemed impossible without the buffer.   

So I would count this as a buffer class, but only if you want it to be.

  Dan, I was wondering if you would mind Lucia looking up to Inferno as sort of an older brother?  He doesn't have to acknowledge it, it's just that I dunno, it would kinda make sense to me, at least a little.  And she'd definitely be looking up to him anyway, seeing as he's most likely gonna be more than a head taller than her.
