Evermoon could see what a clown she was, and laughed at herself. She finished picking the Tansy patch that she had found, leaving some to grow as instructed, and said with slight mirth, "I dearly hope I haven't crushed the Coltsfoot. But you are right, at the moment I am very tired and I believe I would be more use to you in the morning after I've had a wink of sleep." She handed the Tansy to Bryony and bade her a cheerful goodnight, leaving her good friend standing in the moonlight. Evermoon's troubling had been lightened momentarily after laughing, but now the strange urging engulfed her once more. She lay on her cot, watching the dust motes fly through the gleaming moonlight...it had an enchanting effect and soon put her into a deep sleep.

Evermoon was walking through the Mossflower forest, although it did not seem like it, for an eerie, dark chill filled and engulfed the trees. The moon was not shining, and it was nearly black as pitch. She treaded with great care, as if she was trying not to wake the ghosts. The trees started thinning, and she came upon the great redstone house which she loved with all her heart. She was gleefully running to the doors, relieved to be out of the forest. But as she neared the walls, she could hear faint screaming and crying and yelling. It grew louder and louder, and with it the great badger's dread. She could now make out that the walls where a blood red with the gleam of fire from within the walls. She rushed inside her burning home and a heart-wrenching sight met her eyes.  Rats, ferrets, vermin of all sizes and shapes where carrying swords and spears and shooting flaming arrows and yelling "For the White One!!" at the top of their lungs. Some battled resistant Redwallers, some where burning down the orchard, some where pouring salt and dirt into the pond. The poor creatures of Redwall stood no chance, and many a goodbeast fell. Evermoon saw dibbuns crying for lost parents, infirmary people hopelessly trying to repair wounds, and brave animals making a courageous last stand. And there, among the throng of blood and mud, she saw a great white fox. He wore a sweeping velvet cape and bore a huge jewel-studded sword. He was killing a female squirrel, a horrendous thing to do, but what made it worse was that Evermoon recognized the missing ear and tender features. It was Bryony!! Evermoon cried out in anguish and rushed through a haze of tears and flying mud to kill the evil fox. But before she could reach him, she tripped and fell into a black void of nothing. She fell on and on through blackness, her cries for Bryony echoing back at her as mocking laughter.

Whitefang opened his bleary eyes, the early red sun just peeking over the horizon. For some strange reason, he felt exceptionally good today. He sat up and saw the embers that had once been a fire, but he paid no heed. The fox looked at the dwindling food supply and though to himself, We must do something about that. He then stood up and looked over his small, sleeping army, scanning and planning what he would do. Grabbing a bruised crab apple and stale bread, Whitefang decided to let them sleep in a while and he sat on the sand, watching the sun rise as he ate his breakfast.

OOC: Miss Rainbow? Bryony's a squirrel. And her face isn't deformed, it's just her ear. Well, her eyes are different colors.

BIC: "It's alright, old friend! Thanks! I'll be back in soon." she said, waving. She went back to the coltsfoot, seeing that thankfully Evermoon hadn't crushed it too badly. Well, it's best crushed anyway. I don't like being out here all alone. she thought, working quickly. She finished up, gathering more spearmint and finding a valuable addition of Lavender and Rosemary. She knocked on the gate, and went to the Infirmary to put away her herbs. I hope I don't wake up Lilac! I'll just put my basket over here, and put the herbs away tomorrow. She slipped into one of the Infirmary beds, and fell fast asleep.

Miss RainbowSocks

OOC: Sorry Cornflower, haven't read your sheet in a while. Anyway, it was a dream and sometimes things are deformed in dreams. I'll edit it!

Cornflower MM

OOC: Alright, it's fine. Oh, Faiy? I was thinking that Lilac and Bryony could be good friends.

The Shade

One of Drageo's blazing orange eyes snapped open, immediately taking in the surroundings. Somehow he had ended up on the opposite side of the camp where he normally slept. With a rum bottle in one paw. Well, that was no surprise than. He must had got hopelessly drunk and crashed into the bush he was currently in. Heaving himself out, he pulled his jacket closer as a slight breeze swept through the camp. Maybe he would go and see this Whitefang. He wasn't quite sure about his newly appointed rank yet. Prehaps he did have some ability in controlling soldiers, but on the other paw he liked to work alone.

OOC: @ Cornflower. Sure sounds good. @ every one else. I am Currently kind of grounded from my computer so I might not be able to get on really so don't really try to interact to much with my character.

BIC: Guvala had been awake for the past two hours sitting on a rock she watched Drageo, The drunken fool, wake up and climb out of a bush. Her puctuality and alertness had been one of the reasons she had been promoted but she had no idea why Drageo had.

Lilac sat up in bed she felt refreshed she saw Bryony sleeping in the bead next to her she quietly got up and creepped out of the room and made her way down to the kitchen.
I am back... sort of... maybe... Hi?

OOC: Making this short so I actually have a post that starts Redan's trip

BIC: Redan bowed and backed away from Whitefang. The haversack that had been pointed out was resting against a log. Making sure his hood was firmly over his head, he opened the bag and rummaged around it to make sure everything was there and the drink containers were secure. Satisfied, he slipped into the shadows and edged around the camp, creeping past the guards on patrol. Not looking back once, he set off to complete the challenging task he had been given.

OOC: @Miss. Is the horde in Mossflower? Because Redan is currently heading there but I don't know if we are there or not, unless you want Redan to search the west coast by Salamandastron or elsewhere.

Bryony woke up and stretched. She looked over and saw that Lilac's bed was empty. She must have gone to get breakfast. Maybe she'll bring some up. She got out of bed and dressed, then went over to her basket and started putting herbs away. "Right, let's get you herbs into your places! Tansy, you go there, coltsfoot, let's put you there..Oh! Looks like we're out of Violet. I guess I'll have to go and get some more....Lavender, you go there, and I'm glad I got some last night, because we're nearly out...." And so forth, just rambling. Bryony really liked talking to the herbs, even though she wasn't sure why. It helped her to get a hold on those grumpy feelings she always had in the morning. She wondered if Lilac would come with her later.

OOC: You are on the shores near Salamandastron (a little south of it if I'm not mistaken). And you're supposed to be going to Mossflower. Assuming that I haven't mis-interpreted all previous posts.

OOC: Yay! ;D Oops, sorry Miss Rainbow!

Lilac entered the kitchen. The lovely smell of fresh baked bread enveloped her and the sound of bustling kitchen helpers preparing breakfast was all about. She made her way around to the back where she found a tray and, talking the whole time with a mousewife preparing some scones, She loaded the tray with bread and jams and marmalade a pot of hot water for tea and two cups. Then saying good bye to the good mousewife she made her way skillfully threw the kitchen, like she did every morning, avoiding the creatures moving here and there and the occasional swat with a spoon or rolling pin directed at some other beast with sticky paws. She had done this so many times that it had become instinct and she could maneuver threw the chaos of the kitchen without loosing a beet or a tea cup as the case may be.

She made her way up the red sandstone steps and down the hall, past the many closed doors where behind brothers and sisters slept, and on in to the Infirmary. She pushed the door open with her foot and walked in, greeting Bryony cheerfully, and placing the tray on a small table. Then going over to a cabinet she took out a small box of her own special tea blend and put some in the pot to steep.

"There you go, Now come over her and lets have a bit to eat," she said setting the table with two plats, tea cups, spoons, and napkins and then sitting her self down in a chair.

"Oh, good morning Lilac! Ooh, Peach and blackberry jam! My favourite!" Bryany said, as she closed the herb cub board door and sat down at the little table. She poured herself a cup of tea, and blew on it gently, then sliced herself some bread and slathered some jam on it. "While I'm thinking of it Lilac, we're almost out of violet leaves, and tea tree too. I gathered some herbs last night with Evermoon, but I didn't find everything. Want to go with me later to some more?" she asked, then took a bit of scone. She swallowed and took a sip tea, just thinking.

"Sounds good, how about we go out into Mossflower, I have been meaning to go out to find some herbs that I can't find in the abbey grounds. We can even pack ourselves a lunch," Lilac said as she sped honey on a scone. Lilac liked going out in to the woods. Even though she had grownup all her life in the abbey the woods still seemed like home. maybe it was because she was born there or maybe it was because her twin sister had died there as a baby and she felt like a part of her was still in the forest. She took a bight of her scone and stared out the window over the treetops of Mossflower in the gray morning light.

Guvala jumped down from the rock and looked across the camp. She saw Wightfang. He was an impending figure indeed. His wight fur shown gold in the sun light and she thought that despite the fact that she did not always agree with his decisions he was some one who she was willing to fallow someone to lead her to greatness. She had heard talk of this place in the north from an otter, a great red sand stone abbey. She guessed that that was there destination.

"Sounds good!" Bryony said as she finished chewing and swallowed. She looked at Lilac, who seemed to be far, far away, in a world where Bryony wasn't there. She sighed, it was sometimes a little hard not to feel a little....Left out, around her friend. She took another bite of her bread and realized she'd finished it, so she took another slice. She's always sort envied Lilac, since she just seemed so....Calm and collected.
