I think we should be happy. Cos Brian Jacques was a great person, and it is sad that he died, but we should celebrate, and toast in memory of him. Here's to Brian Jacques, and amazing author, and a great man! *Raises glass of strawberry punch*

Greetings to all beasts of good heart. I plan to enjoy today as a celebration of Brian's life and legacy. Later, I plan to bake cookies and have a mini-feast, as well as writing a few pages of a story I'm working on for a friend. My plushies are also celebrating by having games and story-telling this afternoon. They love to read the books as well. Of course, it takes several of them to hold the pages open while they read, but they don't mind. Sometimes I read to them, too.

*Clinks glasses with others* Let us remember the words and wisdom of the greatest storyteller of our age, Brian Jacques.

The Introduction from Mariel of Redwall:

"In my books there is life and death. Goodies get killed as well as baddies. It's not like Walt Disney where there are singing teapots and we all go over the hill singing bobbidy-bobbidy-boo at the end so goodies get killed as well as baddies." -Brian Jacques

I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?
