But... It's so cooooool... And to be honest, because I don't plan on fighting for my life anytime soon (Or any time, ever.) I honestly care about it being awesome more than I care about it being functional

And besides, I've got two ten-inch-or-so blades for that- Wooden handles, bronze guards, single edged blades. Took me forever to make those... XD

That staff sounds cool too, though. It's like a sword cane. But more awesome.

Ooh! Sword canes. So, I have a friend who used to work at a bookstore. Some guy came in, browsed around a little, and forgot his cane when he left. One of the employees made a joke about it being a sword cane, and, in fact, it was.

First it was knives.
Then it was pocket knives.
Now it's homemade pocket knives.

What is it gonna be next? Pocket knives made out of meteorite and fairy dust?

My brother made me some actual metal swords, and we fight with them. Standing on walls.

I want to get a training katana or a shiinai soon... I'd like to learn kendo. It'll be hard learning by myself though.

Do you know how hard it is to get  any kind of blade made with meteorite and fairy dust? The amount of dragon scales those cost is staggering! One dragon scale is equivalent to 40 unicorn hairs, and it's dangerous to get those because of all the laws concerning the treatment of unicorns because they are endangered. Forcing a unicorn to give up even one hair can get you ex-communicated by the High Council of Magicians.

Leprechauns are endangered too, it's so stressful to catch one, and then you have to release them as soon as you take their pot of gold.

Right? And then they could sue you for abuse and theft. You get caught with those charges, and the reciprocation is worse than ex-communication.

Ahh, kendo. I try to practice at least six times a week. I also practiced shuriken-jitsu for a while, but I focus on kendo these days.

Omigosh! You do kendo??? Do you have any suggestions as far as online sources go?

Yeah, I kinda am, but only a bit. I have to get a paying job before I can even think of getting a sword. And I have to find a sparring partner.
