Um, isn't this thread supposed to be serious?

To prevent people being tortured by Izeroth, here's something I want to say about "its" and "it's".

"Its", without an apostrophe, is possessive.  As in, "The robot knew its time had come."

"It's", with an apostrophe, is a contraction of "it is".  As in, "It's never too late to improve your grammar."

:)
"The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater." ~J.R.R. Tolkien

*Sighs at James*

Good idea, Jukka. I'm sure many people will be glad to see that - It may get them out of trouble with Iz! If and when they see it, anyways. :P

Skyblade

Thanks, Jukka.

Just to inform everyone, Corny, "anyways" is ungrammatical ;) Just use "anyway".

Thanks, MatthiasMan, for the avatar!

Oops, sorry. :P (Getting technical now, are we? :P Why don't you go look at my first posts, hmm? I've been editing them slowly but surely, but if you took a look from about page 803, you'd be horrified. And yes, I just used 'you'd,' but my apologies, I don't think that bait's going to break very easily, if at all.)

I'm sorry if I sounded rude. It's just... this is, well, the Grammar Patrol.

Absolutely, Sage.

You weren't soudning rude to me - I was poking fun at myself. :P

Also, James, really? *Throws hands in the air* This is a serious topic, y'know.
