-Sometime later, the second mate was unexpectedly rescued by the subplot, which had been trailing a bit behind the boat (and the plot). The whole story moved along.

@Søren  So was there any romance in the movie?  Some site said there was, including a kiss, but PluggedIn never mentioned it.  I'm just really curious, because I didn't expect any romance.
