This topic was long overdue. I just got Morrowind, and it's almost finished installing. So excited!  :)

EDIT: Awesome music is awesome. (The music tells the story of the creation of Nirn)

Dreams, dreams are untapped and writhing. How much more real are dreams than that paltry existence which we now call reality? How shall we ascend to that which humanity is destined? By mastering the dreamworld of course. That is how, my pupils, that is how.

  Ooh, exciting, Ash!  :))

Question:  In Elder Scrolls games, what type of character do you usually play?  Mage?  Warrior?  Thief?  A mixture of the three?

My current character in Skyrim is Koviso, a level 40 (I think; haven't played in a few weeks because I keep forgetting :P) dark elf conjuration mage and a vampire who resides at Castle Volkihar.  I usually fight with a summoned sword and a flame atronach, and I always keep a follower on me because while I'm an extremely powerful attacker, I go down easy.  :P

My main character William Wallace (I know not the most creative name in the world. ;D) is partly a warrior, but mostly a thief. I am level 39, I have hearthfire installed and bought all of the houses that I know about that require you to build them. But I live in Windstad Manor in the Morthal Hold. I have completed the Thieves Guild quest-line, completed several Daedric Quests most of them going against the Daedric Princes and winning most of the time. Also finished the Dark Brotherhood quest-line and haven't really started the main quest. I recently started the companion storyline, but I would rather become a vampire to see what happens. ;D

Gonff the Mousethief

Usually I try to play a quick sly thief, usually with a bow or ax as my main weapon. I have always chosen to be a Khajiit, and have tried to make his fur as blue as I can. It usually looks up to me a scraggly mess, but it looks decent enough. In Elder Scrolls games, I hardly ever follow the main quest in the beginning. It's just so fun to go out and explore, not play some awesome story that involves a Nordic war and slaying dragons. Collecting plates and downloading LotR mods is so much better.
I want the world of Tolkien,
The message of Lewis;
The adventure of Jacques,
And the heart of Milne.
But I want the originality of me.

I play a Dark Elf warrior mage who specialises in conjuration (Uses bound weapons), wears light armour and dabbles a bit in destruction. I call it Blood Knight. I play the class in Morrowind as well, and it's fun.

In Morrowind I'm a Fighter's Guild apprentice (The second rank), and was given the quest to kill some ex miners stealing from the Kwama egg mines. I kill one of them, only for the other to kill me. The thing is, in Morrowind, your attacks hit more if you have high stamina, and my stamina is pretty depleted at the moment. (Not to mention both of them have pickaxes [!] that pierce my steel plate. I'll try and finish it today)

I've almost finished the Dark Brotherhood Questline the day I started it. ;D

Cool. I plan to do the Dark Brotherhood quests only for Cicero. Only for Cicero.

I got Lydia as a follower after Uthgerd the Unbroken died after a dragon killed her  :'( :'( :'(

I don't really like followers, I only take them if it is a very difficult place. Otherwise they just get in my way. ;D

I am doing it for the huge amount of gold at the end.

Spoiler
I always kill Cicero, do you let him live? He is awesome, but I can't betray my family! ;D

Oh yeah, I am playing with a Breton who used to be a vampire, he is level 16, he is a conjurer/destruction/archer/two-handed weapon person. I like playing with a lot of options. I like the conjuration school, this is the first time I've played using it. Usually it just rots at 15 or 20, nothing happening to it. ;D

Conjuration is good, you can use it to level up really fast thanks to the bound weapons/slaughterfish glitch.

@Delthion PUT THAT CICERO THING IN A SPOILER!!!

Lady Ashenwyte

I did that Thalmor Embassy infiltration quest yesterday. I died multiple times while doing it.

Bah, Fallout is far better.

If you like apocalyptic stories better than fantasy, which I don't. Apparently FO4 took out a lot of the roleplaying potential too, which is a huge downside.

"Understood." Will looked at Nico. "Will you be my buddy?"
"You're a dork," Nico announced.
