What's going on here?" asked Barbossa as he walked up to them with his sword out.

  "I was... chasing after a noise."  Shadow answered Tulipa.  She felt very embarrassed.  The noise could have been anything.  But it wasn't!  She shouldn't have to defend herself!  "I found the pirates!  Two of them!  And a badger!  I could have been killed and all you're doing is yelling at me?"

  "What did you just say to me?"  Shadow glared at Barbossa.  She didn't like this mouse.

  "Sorry, a little busy at the moment dealing with a pirate!"  Shadow was quite tired of this day.  She just wished that it would end and she could go back to Redwall.

Kalia led Silverstorm to her holt. "I'm sure you'll like it at my place, mate. I'm glad to have a friend like you, some of my holt got murdered by a vermin rat."
