I think Plugg was the best villain in the series, because his crew seemed to like him. He didn't beat them up, he only attacked his enemies. They followed him out of loyalty, not fear. That's a step in the right direction, even if they're still pirates. Which, as I clearly demonstrate, doesn't have to be bad.

Yea, they are probably the best vermin crew in the series right behind Ungatt Trunn's hoarde (though, Ungatt Trunn's hoarde as a little bit more than a crew...).

I've almost done reading Triss. And Plugg Firetail is now one of my favorite Bad Guys. Actually, I like all the Freebooter!
