The other Otter had started to run as soon as he'd seen what Raven had been able to do. The poor beast had run straight into Vlad, who stabbed the Otter in the gut. He went limp quickly, as electricity spread through his body. Pulling his knife free, the Fossa dragged the corpse the same direction as Raven.

Arya ran to the airship as commanded, and said, "I'll tell you in a moment...." She dove into the ship as the mouse who'd been knocked out staggered out of Smokey Joe's, and she decided to stay out of sight as much as possible after this.

Norham Waterpaw

Frinlen was on guard. As soon as the two were killed, he remembered the third. He whipped around and fired off a shot, catching the mouse in the ribs, knocking him stone dead. It hit the ground with a disturbing crunch. Frinlen cringed as he dragged the lifeless body back to the airship. He was much more used to cleaning up rocks after a fight, not bodies.
Hey you! What? Expecting a great quote or some heart-warming poem? Too bad, my signature is just boring. Stop reading it. Stop it. Why are you still reading it?

Apon reaching his airship, Raven shoved the dead otter's body into one of the open holds. The Sky Raptor was actually quite an old ship, although certain parts seemed spanking new, almost certainly nicked from some empire-established factory. The corpse thudded on serveral barrels, which looked like they might contain gunpowder.

"Come on! I want that balloon filled to the brim 'wid hot air! Move it, or I'll have the lot of yer keeled over the rail while we're flyin'!"

All threats however, were hollow. The small crew knew all too well Raven wouldn't carry them out, although they bustled to life anyway. They were obedient to their captain not because of fear, but because of respect.

"Don't untie 'er yet, I think we've got a couple of passagers coming," Raven winked, nodding the rest of the rebels. "We'll have to take 'em the the hideout." he muttered.

"Hideout? What hideout?" Arya asked. She normally wouldn't, but since she was being brought there she thought it alright to ask.

BlueRose

After finishing her bedtime snack, Vicky lounged on her bed with a book; namely, The Unexpected Mrs. Polly Flax. After a while, she put her book down, turned off the gas lamp, rolled over, and promptly fell into a dreamless sleep.
Was anyone else on the old DAB forum, circa 2009? I was recently reminded of it, lol.

Bitterly jittery, and not very glittery.

Once they were airborn, Raven had a brief chance to relax. Being an outlaw was extremely stressful. Maybe he should take a simple job, like a farmer or something... His eyelids slowly closed.

The raccoon's powernap was rudely interupted by a violent jolt. The airship had touched down.

He evantually stumbled to the rail, pleasantly surprised that his crew had managed to land The Sky Raptor without his direct leadership. They was rarely organized for such. As per normal, the ship had touched down on the large docking platform that jutted out from a large tree. The rebel's hideout. Consisting of part mightly oak, treehouse, rooms inside the hollow trunk, and part underground lair. He strolled through the narrow doorway, nodding to the lookout armed with a sawn-off flintlock shotgun. The captain passed through various rooms, hollowed out in the oaken trunk of the tree. A fire-blackened forge, several gunpowder and weapon rooms, a small dining room... He briefly paused and snatched a roasted perch, a small loaf and a bottle of grog, before carrying on. He didn't feel like socializing tonight. He needed some good shuteye, espically for tommorrow.

OOC: I reckon in my next post we'll just skip to next evening and then get some real action in.  ;)

Arya rolled her eyes: Raven had, it seemed, forgotten about her. She walked off the ship, and saw the lookout. "Hey, you! I came with Raven, and it seems he forgot about me. So, where'm I sleeping?" She asked, striding over to him.

Rusvul

Valerian heard a thud, and then a shout. He stepped up from his work, and ascended the staircase to the dock. He strode up to Arya, a spanner still in his hand. "Hello, again. Can't be sure where you'd be sleeping- We've got bunks for most of us, but a  few of us have our own rooms. We've got some spare. Up to Raven, really. Still, it's a while till total dark. Care for some food?"

Cornflower MM

"Sure." Arya said, looking around. "So, the HQ's a tree...Why am I not surprised?"

The Skarzs

OOC: I'm gonna post because I'm pretty sure I'm accepted. If not, just yell at me to not post.

BIC: Dregnar looked behind him at the now-closer form of an empire warship. He smiled, looking at the ungainly vehicle with his one eye. "You are like a slug; big and fat and slow. Oh well; time to pour a bit of salt on you."
Turning his fast little ship around, he sped straight for the larger ship, waiting until he was right alongside it. Pulling a lever, the cougar waved goodbye to the warship's crew as all his guns were fired. Dregnar swept around, watching the crippled warship sink to the earth. He laughed.

Vlad had been standing at the edge of the ship the whole flight, looking at the city below through the smog. When he saw the great oak, he frowned. If the hideout was ever discovered, it would be a simple feat to burn it to the ground. Stepping off the ship as soon as it landed, the Fossa stood near the edge of the platform, looking over the city. In the distance, just past the cities boundaries he saw something falling. Looking closer, he saw it was a large warship. Vlad smiled. It seemed that they had an unknown ally causing the empire some troubles.

OOC: This alright, Skarz?

OOC: Yeah, it's fine. :)

BIC: Dregnar peered toward the skyline, looking at a large oak tree harboring another ship. He decided to come closer and investigate.

OOC: Would it be possible for you guys to attack him because you aren't sure if he is an ally or not?
