Hbbiton Party Thing! (post roleplay style)

[Verdauga]

"Of course we do! We have to make the fizzy strawberry drinks somehow! I'll go over there and get some."
With that Verdauga grabbed his coat and left the party, returning a while later with a basket of strawberries in his hand.
"Here you are. There are a few more baskets of them in case we need anymore."

{I'm not going to post much today cause my internet is moving slowly.}

Teer grinned, taking the basket from Verdauga with a smile.
"Thanks. How much do I owe you for them?"
Teer passed the strawberries to Ebantu and began whipping the cream.

[Verdauga]

"Ah, don't worry about it," Verdauga replied. "With everything else you had to fund, I don't want to add this to it. Also, if I were to charge you, I'd have to know how many strawberries you used. Which I don't." Verdauga smiled. "After all, I wouldn't want to under-charge ya."

[Kade Rivok]

*Stealthily sneaks a scrumptious strawberry from Shisteer's sorta sister.*

Teer flicked a wooden ladle at Kade's paw, giving a small smile as she heard the thud of the implement hitting its intended mark.
"Wait till the cream's ready."

[Ebantu the Kararehe]

Ebantu playfully bared her teeth at Kade. "Yeah, what she said." She surreptitiously dipped her paw into the cream and licked it, winking at the otter.

Teer glared at Ebantu, swinging the ladle again.
"Good things come to those who wait. Behave yourselves or I'll start singing."

[Ebantu the Kararehe]

*gasps in mock-horror* Oh no, not the singing!

[Kade Rivok]

Teer glared at Ebantu, swinging the ladle again.

Rubbing his paw, Kade looked over at Teer as he popped the single strawberry he'd managed to get into his mouth.  "Ooo, I wanna hear you sing!

*groans* No, Kade! You don't know what you've done!

Teer shook her head warningly.
"Ebantu, you should be posting roleplay style."

Ebantu hit her forehead with the palm of her paw. "Oops. Completely forgot," she said sheepishly.

Teer scooped the whipped cream into a bowl and headed back outside.
"That's alright. You can have food now."

Ebantu followed Teer eagerly. "Yum! Fresh strawberries are the best thing to have in summer."

Teer nodded agreement, a light frown crossing her brow.
"Yes they are, along with other fresh berries."
Turning round, Teer called inside to Kade and Verdauga.
"Can one of you bring the boysenberries out, please? They're in the fridge."
