Okay, so just post one (I repeat, ONE, UNO, 1) random thing in each post that's true about yourself. Feel free to comment on what other people have posted before you. Here goes: I love to burst into song at random hours of the day. More often than not, it is a Redwall song.

You're getting off topic, guys...
I've memorized every bit of Samus Aran info. You could say I'm her stalker...or biggest fan. Whichever.
I know almost all there is to know about owls. The Guardians of Ga'Hoole series made me obsessed with them, so I found out as much info on them as I can. I'm still yet to see an owl in it's natural habitat, though, but I really want to just sit in this foresty kind of area near where I live where owls live all night until I see one! My favourite owl is the sooty owl, this one:
(http://www.mangoverde.com/birdsound/images/00000005361.jpg) That's a picture of a lesser sooty owl, a Tyto multipunctata.
Cool!!!
I'm author of 9 books. A few of them are finished, but a few are halfway through.
we saw an owl swoop and pick up something then land on a telephone pole and look at us it was dark but so cool
The guardians of Ga'Hoole series is AWESOME!
I am a fanatic when it comes to Celtic Woman....and know way more about the singers than I ever care to know.
^
Oooh, who's your favourite character? Mine is Dustytuft/Phillip because he is a Sooty Owl! I also like Digger though.
..that was likely a mouse he caught Maudie...you are lucky to see an owl do that...they are very quiet hunters...
..I enjoy nature very much...I think if you want to commune with the spirits, or with God, or whatever you call the supreme maker, you must be outdoors rather than shut up in a box they call a church...
Actually, the building is not a church. That's just the place where the church is. The church is really the Bride of Christ, and is made up of the people. Back on subject, people!!
I like to climb trees.
...yes. I enjoy climbing trees too (although these days my joints protest a bit)...and that is communing with nature on a very personal level...sometimes, you can hear them talk...
...of course I know that the church is not the building..I was trying to simplify...my meaning is, that if you want to be closer to the Almighty, all you need do is ponder a blade of grass*, or watch a bee gather pollen...walking in the woods can be just as spiritual, if not more so, than sitting in a pew with your head in a book...
...*check out "splendour in the grass" in a poem by William Wordsworth..
True, true. I will often just climb a random tree and sit there for hours contemplating.
I have had the privelige of being owned by two domestic rats called Jetstone and Mystique. And yes, they own me, not the other way around.

I have a king sized bed
I'm a Lynn Hilary fan.
I'm getting a Kirby keychain for my bag!
I'm going to buy a European Medieval Broadsword at the Scottish-Irish festival down in PA next year.
i want to be an interior decorator
I am a volunteer at the local animal shelter.
...good for you on your upcoming Confirmation Maudie!...have you chosen a Saint's name yet?...I remember when Mass was said in Latin..before Vatican II..I had a Missal with Latin on one side and English on the other so I could keep up.....just when I was getting the hang of it Mass was changed to English..I was kinda disappointed...Dominus vobiscum...
Is that you? Ya know, someone could run that through facial recognition. :D
And I'm not sure yet, I'll have to browse through the selection of their broadswords, and I won't be able to do that until next year. Most likely a hand and a half, though. Single handed swords are good for speed, but it's hard to put full strength behind the blow. And double handed swords cut down on your spped a lot. I guess you could say I'm a lot like Eragon. :)
..I guess a large sword is needed if you're going to do some heavy chopping...in which case I'd probably use an axe..
*Dusts off the abandoned thread*

Yeah, it's the same where I used to live. There's a great karaoke culture in Japan, though. A lot of people take it really seriously. There's a huge drinking culture around it here too, but at least you can hire your own room and not have to worry about strangers hearing you sing. I went on Friday night for three hours, no one drank, and it was the best karaoke experience I've had. ;D

I'm writing a book about anciant egypt. My poetry is really bad. I throw most of it out.
I'm good at poetry. Here's a poem for you guys.
A budding rose once came to life,
in time of the worst strife,
the Redwall creatures found there hope,
in a little mouse no one calls dope.
His name was Matthias,
he went and cut that big flower,
It's thorns so sharp,
even Cluny lost his power,
Cluny then cut them off,
with no rations,
but good ole Matthias,
sent the warriors to there stations,
He went to the fight,
with the flower so fine,
He fought Cluny the Scourge,
And killed him with the bell of time.
Christian Oliverio ;D ;D
Hope you like my poem.
I like it, and it's really good. :) Please refrain from double posting, though. There's a 'modify' button at the upper right hand corner of your post if you want to change anything.

Is he your imaginary friend? I have to confess, I have one. :-[ *Embarrasing.* I've never mentioned him until here and now.
That's not embarrassing. I have an otter friend called Stormie who sits on my shoulder all the time. ;D (She's not real.)
Well, I could tell about it but...OK. So, I don't actually talk to it I just made up this town in my mind called Blooshton. I'll upload a picture of one of my characters I made up. K?

I've never had a friend over. When I created mine it was at school during a test. I was done with mine so I randomly drew something. It turned out to be a squirrel and I named her Sarah. The name just popped in my head. Then I created a whole story line. All the pieces started coming together. There's way too much to put on here. :D

I love the poems in Triss
Like this un.
The slaves of Riftgard,
In the north waters cold,
Learned the way of a fat Tyrant,
But there's more to be told.
Three certain slaves,
Were planning a scheme,
That would break them free,
And accomplish a dream.
Punished and tortured after being found out,
Others would say they'd have died.
But they were determined,
These three creatures bold,
And would not be buried where other souls lied.
Sailing away on a stolen boat,
Stopped more than once,
By that one ferret devout.
After leaving young Welfo down at Peace Isle,
Triss and Shogg headed for Mossflower.
Meeting new friends along the way,
Though having to part soon after.
The duo kept running,
Till Redwall they found,
Destroying a menace,
And costing Kurda her crown.
Poor Shogg was soon killed,
By the poisonous bite;
He'd finished his part,
But they'd won the fight.
That's not from Triss, that's yours!

I'm redoing my kitchen this summer :) new paint, hopefully new floor, and new countertops. It is SO UGLY right now. First of all the counter and floor are literally from like the forties. The counter is dingy white with pink, green and gold flecks in it. The floor is vinyl and its like ugly gold flecked "white" that's stained, burned, and peeling up in places. Then in the nineties some jerk painted the trim and cabinets TURQUOISE and the walls and drawers CEMENT GRAY. It's truly horrid.
Haha, I kinda can't wait to get my own house, and make it my OWN. I'm watching bison roll in sand 'cause they're covered in flies and stuff.

Yeah it's tough with an apartment because I can't change everything that I want. If it was up to me I'd put in hardwood in the kitchen and rip out the counter and replace it; as it is, ill probably have to settle for new vinyl and a Formica countertop layered over the existing one. All in all its a great apt though. The house was built in the 1890's so my whole main room, that used to be a small dining room, is all trimmed in beautiful oak beams. The city I live in was the lumber capital of the entire world when the house was built, and it was owned by a lumber baron back then.
Are you watching on TV or at the zoo? At our zoo we have bison, and they're the only animal you can view without paying admission because they're the city's mascot (Buffalo, NY).
I love these books right now:
Taggerung, and Doomwyte by Brian Jacques (Also, Martin the Warrior, but I thought the t.v series added spice to it)
The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks
The Lion, the witch, and the wardrobe by C.S Lewis
I'm listening to Messy Mondays: You Are Not an Activist.
Even though I'm not from the 80's and 90's generation, I still love shows from that era, I watched Saved by the Bell with my cousins, and I think they only tolerated it. I don't care because I love retro, it's just that I like a lot of the plots in things like that.
I've gotten mono before.
What's that?
Mono looks like strep throat but you are really sleepy all of the time. You also can't take antibiotics to get rid of it because they won't work. You just have to sleep nearly all the time. It sucked.
Another random thing about me is that I'm really weird... obviously.
You might know mono as glandular fever, Tiria. We don't call it mono in Australia.
Now I suppose I should say something random about myself... I know how to tie a yukata obi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obi_(sash)).

Bella: La, la, I can't decide whether to date a vampire or a werewolf
The characters are sooo boring.
Thanks now lets stop talking about a bad movie ( and books) and lets talk about Something Random About Yourself.
I have brown eyes.
Right. I'd never want to waste time on that topic, anyway.
I love this new web comic I discovered, Mynarski Forest. It's about a cotton tailed rabbit named Skippy, and his sarcastic and stubborn vixen red fox friend named Liska. I just wish it had some physical comic books.
I love Warriors.
I made Redwall book marks for All of my Redwall books.
Awesome! I'm thinking of making a Redwall activity book, with character profiles from my favorite books, recipes, and a word search puzzle.
That would be cool.
yeah, I'm only gonna do my favorites though, because I think all of the books would take too long.
When I'm walking down a long road, I often feel as though I could just fly down to the other end. It's really weird.
I was never in the hospital for any thing but to visit other people.
I've gotten stitches from a cat scratch.
:o oh my. Well I have had 3 hamsters.
I was only in the hospital when I had my tonsils removed, at age seven. It was boring. The only foods I were allowed to have we're liquid foods. Like soup, jell-o, etc. Not that those foods weren't good for a while, Lol
I'm having Tortilla soup tonight!!! I LOVE TORTILLA SOUP!!!
I love tortilla soup! Some of my favorite soups are chicken noodle and broccoli cheese. Yum :)
I like soup.
I want to make otter's hotroot soup
I don't like insects, mainly spiders and bees. Seriously, I had a huge spider crawling right in between the legs yesterday. You guys should have seen me dance. Oh, how I danced. Then I was shaking for the rest of the day.
Redwall has been around for a lot of years, and you would think I would have discovered it sooner, but I only discovered it in August 2011. Before I was into the Redwall fan base, I was into bratz, Calvin and Hobbes, High School Musical, Finding Nemo, and other random topics. Anyway, I discovered it a little late, but hey better late than never.
I haven't read a Redwall book since the Rogue Crew came out. I just haven't found the time.
I like the song Ice, Ice, Baby by Vanilla Ice
I would Like to go to camp but I don't think I will be able to go. :'(
I hate fireworks.
Really? I love fireworks! I see them every Friday and Saturday at the baseball stadium near my house.
I just don't like fireworks because they are loud and annoying. Also, they are usually fired off near my house at around midnight on July 4. I can never sleep.
My dog is scared of fireworks. Whenever he hears the, go off, he shivers.
I like Transformers. Especially the score (soundtrack for all those non instrumental music geeks).
I love the music from the Narnia movies. The instrumental tracks are awesome in it.
Amen!
I guess. . .

Oh and my sister is the biggest Narnia fan out there....she has read all the book (I did too) and watched all the movies (Me too) and more, lots more.
I own all three Narnia movies, and I think that the first one is my favorite.
We own the three movies one is in Blue Ray we also have a 4 disc special for the first one and we have two of the old BBC Narnia movies and the sound tracks for all of them and we also have the taps and lots and lots of the books. ;D
This isn't really random anymore. I'm watching the Flintstones movie.
I'm watching another Saved by the Bell episode
I like Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time movie.
I love that movie. My brother and sister think it's annoying and sappy, though.
Lol.

I like to hang upside down.
I like birds. Mainly owls and hawks.
I love yams
I REALLY like Kindles!
I like real books. Not Kindles. It feels more satisfying to slam a book shut after finishing it than to turn off a Kindle and carefully set it down.

I know right?
I am in a VBS skit this year. I'm playing a girl named Sam.

My dog loves to sleep on the high part of the couch in the living room at my house.
I like using my lab Abby as a pillow when watching movies. She's warm, fuzzy and soft, so she makes the perfect pillow. Except for the fact that she breathes and it moves my head. Hmm, if only there were a way to make her stop lol.
I was sick for the past week. :(
I love LOTRO. It's awesome. :D
I have a new profile pic!

Heehee. I listened to High Rhulain on audio and my mum said I had a dopey look on my face the whole time. ;D
I listen to instrumental music while reading. I tried it after hearing my friend do it, only she listened to Disney music. Lol, it's kinda funny reading about a battle between dwarves and Kull while listening to Heigh Ho from Snow White.

I saw the first episode of firefly with my brother. It's actually cool! I'm not much of a drama fan in t.v, I mainly watch comedy, but I liked the characters in it, and how it had kind of a Star Wars theme to it
I love cool violin tunes, like this one:
I love race car games at arcade game places
Me and my friend floated a metal lawn chair in a pool
my cousin has a funny and really addicting laugh.
W0NWILL refers to herself in third person.
I used to watch the t.v series Arthur on PBS. I thought it was weird that they were missing their paws and tails.
Aw I used to love Arthur growing up. My favorite shows as a little kid were Little Bear, Franklin, Barney and Sesame Street. I also liked a show called Allegra's Window, and one called Papa Beaver's Story Time. Little Bear was my all time favorite though. It was nice and quiet and happy. Redwall I watched too but I was older when they ran that on PBS.

I've become an obsessed fangirl over my own novel! Help! :D
I can imitate almost any accent, my friends say it's creepy.
I like to sing along to songs... But for now I only have a few songs memorized.
I'm a poet.
Wind blows,
Trees sway,
Picnics,
Most of the day.
You and,
I sleep,
In a meadow,
Of black and white sheep.
I wrap,
My self,
'Round you,
But I'm small as an elf.
I climb up a tree,
With monkey-like skills,
Till I fall out, around,
That makes me fell ills.
This Strawberry Summer,

What's July without fireworks for eve?

I am preparing to attempt my first cosplay! I'm trying to have it ready by Halloween, but I'm going to have to build a robot arm, which will be tough. I'll have to wear an eyepatch too. D:
A robot arm?
But eyepatches are cool! :)
I want to do a cosplay of Nightcrawler from Xmen someday. My brother goes to cons all the time but I've never been to one.
My neighbor's cat, which some of you have helped me with, Rlaph, left me a dead mouse on the porch today... Yum.
Yup, a robot arm! I'm going as a human version of Spades Slick (http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/2103/spadesslick.png) from the Midnight Crew in Homestuck. And eyepatches are cool, yes, but wearing one all day? It's gonna be weird and uncomfortable, I think (especially when I take it off). I might have to make my own out of a material I can see through.
I'm making the costume for Halloween, but I'm sure I'll re-use it. I'll definitely wear it on Homestuck Day (4/13, the day the comic started), and possibly sometimes just for fun when I go out to see if anyone recognizes it? Not too long ago I was at Pike Place Market and saw some Homestuck cosplayers just walking around in costume, it was pretty awesome. My best friend is going as another character from the same thing, so we're doing this together. lol
I love these songs right now
PayPhone-Maroon 5

Everybody talks-Neon Trees

I have a terrible singing voice
I can sing really low.
I type with 6 fingers!
I love these t.v shows:
Saved by the Bell
Good Luck Charlie
Redwall
Pound Puppies
icarly
iCarly and Good Luck Charlie are actually fairly witty. I wouldn't watch them on my own, but what I've seen of them they're not bad. I liked iCarly a lot when it first came on, when I was a little younger. The one with the stalker girl with the duck hat is entertaining... I also liked her older brother, Spencer.
I am eating chocolate cake and watching water polo.
I love chocolate cake. Here's a funny fact: When I was three, I was fairly picky (as most toddlers are) and decided I didn't like chocolate cake. Then after that year, the interest came back. The only kind of chocolate cake I'm not not that crazy for is the German kind, because Im not that crazy about coconut. I also love chocolate pie, with whipped cream.
Also, about the iCarly and Good Lick Charlie thing, I don't admit that I like those two shows to most people, because I am an older viewer, which is rare for a middle school/tween based theme in those channels. I can't help it though, because sure the humor is corny, but I like the plots and the mix ups that everyone gets themselves into.
I may have a really low voice for a girl, but I'm a soprano in the choir I go to.
I have webbed toes.
Whenever I read a book, I tend to imagine myself as one of the characters going along on the journey. It's awesome when I do that to Redwall books.

And silly me, I meant to put Good Luck Charlie, not Good Lick Charlie ::)

what was your favorite part in the movie? I liked when Katniss spun around and her dress looked like it was on fire.
I know it sounds terrable, but I liked when rue died. I cried so hard!
That was a really sad part. I liked the song that Katniss sang. It kind of reminds me of a Redwaller singing to one of the deaths in Martin the Warrior or something.
yeah, i was dissapionted that they didnt have more of it.
I don't remember, was it the same lyrics or did they change them?
I dont know.
Oh, well anyway I own the movie!
ooh! luckey!
Yep, now I want to get the official movie companion. Who did you think did the most good acting in the movie? I thought Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson did great in it.
"Rude and still not ginger!" I love that quote!

Why aren't you sleeping well? I might be able to offer you some suggestions on how to sleep better.
Eh, it's just me. I'm not really sure why I don't sleep well, I just don't. I take something called Melatonin, and that seems to help. I still don't sleep well, but I've stopped waking up in the middle of the night.

That's good. I used to not sleep well at all. I would get up at two in the morning sometimes!
I sleep really well, people have a very hard time waking me up.
I have a cold. Yes, that was random. :P
Random fact: I've pet a hedgehog before.
I'm fascinated with birds, especially owls.
I've fed nectar to birds before.
I'm listening to Owl City: Live from Los Angeles.
I have autism, but it's only at a slight level. On the Owl City subject, I love his song Good Time with Carly Rae Jepsen it's really catchy.
I'm an extreme introvert. Seriously. No, that doesn't mean that I hide from humanity, I just am really shy and don't like talking to new people. I do have friends! :P I just tend to like to be by myself most of the time, reading or thinking.

I'm the same, I mean, if I get introduced to them one on one I'm usually fine. I don't mind a lot of people, but crowds are hard to get used to. Since I was diagnosed with my Asperger's in December 2009, I had to get used to being more social. I'm doing better than I was.
I believe, but I'm not 100% sure, that I have restless leg syndrome. That might be part of the reason I don't sleep well. :-\
I think one of the reasons that I don't sleep well is because I like to sleep on high pillows (two pillows stacked), and I tend to toss and turn.
I like listening to music when I sleep. Unfortunately, the music I was listening to (An Airplane Carried Me To Bed) had to be brought back to the library. There's a waiting list for it. *Sigh* Oh well, I guess I can just listen to something else. Maybe All Things Bright and Beautiful? No, Ocean Eyes! Or Maybe I'm Dreaming? Ugh, this is harder than I thought!

I keep my iPad under my covers sometimes, when I'm going to bed. I'm really addicted to my I heart radio app in it. I like discovering new favorite songs with it. Listening to music at night has always been one of my favorite things to do.
Two hedgehogs walk across my yard before.
I've seen too many deaths in my life.
I have never seen a dead person.
I love the Redwall picture books.
I live on Mars. If any of you have read the Where Are You in the State/Nation thread, you'll understand why I said that. ;)
I have a pet catfish named Possum!
My yard is 65% dust.
I'm really wanting to read my book, but my head hurts too much to read anymore.
I saw Ice Age:Continental Drift I loved it
I've seen that movie. It's really funny.
My fave character from there is definitely Shira. Finally, Diego got a girlfriend! I was kind of hoping for the two of them to have a long, and good conversation, where we could find out more about each Shira's past, I guess if they did put it in the movie, though, it would slow it down? I don't know... Anyway, that was pretty much it's only weakness! The voice cast was awesome (Especially Jennifer Lopez, Josh Gad, and Kunal Nayyar. I thought that the combined elements of that "Pirates of the Carribean" theme complimented it nicely. I believe it's now my favorite movie from the Ice Age series.
Yeah, but names like Shira have been used for loads of characters like her. It's getting rather cliche. ::) My favourite character is Sid's granny. ;D
I got a 95% on my math average.
I had a weird dream!
haha,there funny!
I'm excited, a Firefly special will be on the sci fi channel on t.v (in Colorado) November 11th! I'm going to record it ;D

I haz blue jeans too!

I don't like the Twilight Zone. But, at the same time, I really enjoy watching it. I'M CONFUSED!!! :P
I LOVE THE DALEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Daleks are strange. Well, you aren't strange, Dalek, but Daleks are strange. At least, that's what I think.
Between Team Edward and Team Jacob, I'm on Team Dalek!
Haha, I'm on Team Finnick!
totally!
I'm on team Diego! *cough, cough* ice age movies ;D
I play piano.
So do I. And electric bass guitar, clarinet, recorder, whistle, oh, and I can play the drums too! Well, I can't actually do much, but I can hit the drums and produce sound. It counts!
I plat the vocal chords.
Haha, I can sing too. ;D
I bet you do it a lot better that me. ;)
Well, I dunno. I don't fancy myself a good singer, and no one seems to compliment my singing (possibly because I never sing in public).
I do sing in public, but people yell at me. Did you know people dont like it when you aing opera at ten at night?
Really? I need to try that! Well, right after I turn my radio (playing either Owl City or Skillet) to full volume at midnight.
Random fact about me: My favorite Omen of the Stars (Warriors) character is Dovepaw.
Mine is jayfeather.
Yeah, Jayfeather is my second favorite. He and Dovepaw nearly tie, but I just like Dovepaw slightly more.
Hmmm, dovewing is way too nice.
I think you two lost me on that one... ???
Warrior cats books. Great series!
Something random about me: I want to defenestrate my alarm clock.
I kill my alarm clock every morning.
I have to stick my alarm clock on the other side of the room because apparently I turn it off in my sleep. Now, I wake up at random hours because my brain hates the alarm. I usually wake up sometime around 5 and pass out around 6-ish. Then I wake up around 7:30, realizing that I've shut off my alarm again. (I'm supposed to wake up at 7)
I'm watching The Hunger Games
Nice! I wish I owned that movie.
itz awesome!
The only board game I will willingly play (I call any others "bored games") is called Scotland Yard. Has anyone else played that? (I love playing Mr. X, AKA Professor Moriarty ;))
I like Monopoly.
Oh, no! Not Monopoly! That's one of my least favorite games. It's too long.
I agree Monopoly as well as the game of Life are waaaaayyyyy tooooo loonngg...
scrabble ends in HUGE fights at my house lol!
I'm awesome at playing Pictionary, and I do sorta like Scattergories.
EDIT: Another random thing about me: My fingertip itches. Like, right underneath the fingernail. It's so irritating!
I ate more candy than food over the last 3 days.
I think im kinda like the big bad wolf because i eat so much ham
oh. ok. ham.
My fingers hate me. I just played May It Be (by Enya) on the piano about 3 times in a row. I'm trying to practice it because it's sooo hard!
I like the Lord of the Rings!
I can't wait for The Hobbit! :D
Yes! I'm going to the midnight premire!
Aw, lucky! I'm going to be performing in a band/choir concert the night it comes out, and I have to get a really good night's sleep in order to be ready. The main reason is because the concert goes until 9-ish, and it takes a long time to get back to my house afterwards.
I'm going dressed as Radagast!
Haha! Are you going to have a staff and a beard, too, Radagast? Also, I thought you were the Doctor, not a wizard.
Sylvester McCoy played the 7th Doctor and is now playing Radagast. ;D I think I can pull it off.

It's like the game of pool in real life. you know? The game where you shoot balls into holes using a long stick and you close one eye while doing it? (Except when I play the wii version, I don't close one eye :P) Wii bowling is definitely my first favorite on the wii games. I prefer the wii versions because I can't play real life pool or bowling to save my life! I like target shooting too but for some reason I can never beat the last level.
I never lose a racing game......ever

Yes! I am too. Although, it depends on the couple for me. For example I root for any Redwall couple and Seddie (Sam and Freddie) from iCarly, but couples in, like say: soap operas and Twilight tend to bore me. I love the romantic moments between Grath and Inbar from Pearls of Lutra and the story of the Otter queen before Tiria's pov of how she met the otter that was on the shore. I don't admit it to most of my family, outside of my mom ;)

I just saw a new iCarly episode: i Lost My Head in Vegas, where the gang has to bust Sam's mom out of jail :P

Haha, every time I get an ice cube from the fridge, my dog is nearly making me trip because she's so close. She loves ice. Pretty much, she stares at me until I give her an ice cube.
Replace that ice cube with some lettuce and you have the treat that my dog is addicted to.. :D. Lettuce is like chocolate to him. A lot of my family and friends still can't figure out why he likes it.

MY BACK HURTS!!!!!!! Okay, I got that out of my system. Now I feel better. Well, my back doesn't, but I do.
I joined more than one forum.
If I were on an escalator and it broke down, I'd do this:
Yes, you can walk up it, but where's the fun in that?
I'm listening to some great new music I discovered, on youtube: VA-Chillstep Dreams volume 2. If anyone wants to check it out, go to this channel on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/fmxz0r
I'm listening to a 25 minute long song by Windsor Airlift. It's called She and I Swam Down the Staircase.
NEW RANDOM THING: Well, after who knows how long of changing my profile info and stuff, I finally found a theme to stick to. Lyrics from the song Angels (Owl City), complete with a picture of a weeping angel!
I make it a point to change my info regularly.
Yeah, I get bored of what I have for my profile info very, very quickly.
So do i.(just in case you hadnt noticed ;D)
Oi loik pumpkin pie.
Well, I'll just give you a brief summary of my day.
I fell asleep around 11 PM and woke up at 3 AM, not able to sleep. I stayed awake till 6 AM, when I had to get up and get ready for church. At 8 AM, I left for church. I helped out in the nursery, nearly falling asleep. After that, I went to the Sunday school class, where we've been learning the "Perspectives of Paradise." I nearly fell asleep there, too!
After Sunday school, which let out at 11 AM, I went to the mall to kill some time. I had until 12:30, which was when I went to one of my Sunday school friend's house for the Thanksgiving potluck we (the Sunday school class) were going to have. I stayed there until around 3:30 PM, and after that, I went to the store to pick up groceries. By then, I was nearly ready to pass out.
After going grocery shopping, I finally got to go home! Now I'm sitting in my pajamas, sleeping whilst mine eyes are staring at the computer screen. It's 5:12 PM. I'm tired. Goodnight, all!
This has been a short story by Rainshadow.
I'm watching The Nightmare Before Christmas!
I'm writing another book.
I'm trying to figure out how to navigate The Dancing Lawn forum with ease. It's not going too bad, but not too well either!
The iCarly finale episode will be on tomorrow for Thanksgiving :(
Yea, TDL are weirdly set up...
The award for creepiest commercial goes to the cuddle puppets (advertised on Cartoon Network and other channels) The way that those puppets and blink their eyes... *shivers* They don't look worth the buying. I'll stick with regular stuffed animals.
The oldest toy I can remember having is a rather beat-up stuffed cow.
The oldest toy that I have is K-Bear, my bear that I got when I was born. He's white with a white and red striped shirt, and he has a heart with a K on it in the middle of the shirt. He's cute.
I have a really weird person sitting next to me...
Me?
I'm a bookworm
Im a wolf! ;)
And I'm sick, Literally. It's no fun. Can anyone cheer me up? Thanks. Part of the cause was a gross thing on t.v (I won't say what it is) and I could only eat a few bites at dinner at my aunt's house today... ugh
Hmmm..you should watch some cartoons.
Awww! *Hugs Redwallfan7* There. Do you feel better yet? Or how about this?

Now I feel better after looking at the skunk. Lol.

Hmm... my teeth hurt... why do my teeth hurt? Maybe because I'm scraping my thumbnail across them for no reason? Nah, that couldn't be it. Seriously, when I have nothing to do, I do the weirdest things.
My mom bought me my own copy of Watership Down for $3!

I've heard one Brave Saint Saturn song, and I loved it! It's called: These Frail Hands.

I just had a wonderful day with my wonderful friends, playing wonderful music in the wonderful band. With our wonderful director.
I read over Runa and Corriam's story in one of the prologues in High Rhulain. It's so romantic!
I just brought my 47 messages down to 26!
I saw this: final episode of iCarly today. I'm going to miss this show! It's a good thing I have four DVDs of the previous seasons.
I watched How to Train Your Dragon again today. I love that movie! And, for all you Doctor Who fans, did you know that David Tennant is in that movie? He has about 6 lines, but still! His character's name is Spitelout, and he's Snotlout's dad.
I'm listening to Lindsey Stirling!! ;D
Wow. I can't believe that iCarly ended. It was cool to see how much Miranda, Jennette, and Nathan grew up from the first episode to the last.

Well, I am officially sick! :( It turns out that I caught some illness from my friends that makes your throat really sore and your head throb.
Aww :(. That's no fun. I threw up six times when I got sick over Thanksgiving break.
Ouch! I don't believe I've ever gotten sick around Thanksgiving, only around Christmas.
We were having Thanksgiving dinner again, because we had it once at my cousin's house, (we watched t.v after we ate) and again at my aunt's house. I felt a weird feeling come though my stomach and I barely ate two bites when we were eating again. My mom was surprised because I rarely get sick.
I get sick all of the time. Usually, if a friend has some illness, I'll be the first to catch it from them. It's not very fun!
Sorry for going off topic, but I lost my copy of MossFlower! I hope I can find it.
Oh no! Yes, I hope you find it!
Random thing about me: I'm having a hard time choosing between the Argonian and Khajiit races for Skyrim. If I were to get that game, I'm not sure which I'd rather do. I mean, the Khajiit are very stealthy and look really cool, but the Argonians can breathe underwater and are also stealthy.
I found it!
Hallelujah! That would be horrible, losing your copy of a Redwall book. *Shudder*
I love Skipper, Amber, and Martin ;D Also, the Mask!
I have a cold. An annoying cold.
Aww :( get better!
Thanks. I hope I do! And my brother as well! He has a solo in One Small Child on Friday, so I hope he's up for singing high!
Off topic but I can't believe I ever liked Saved by the Bell. That show doesen't make any sense. Maybe it's also because I wasn't a 90's kid, but I can't stand it ::)
Weren't you the one who said you liked it a while back? ???
Yes, but I changed my mind.

Well, right now I'm listening/watching the Rock the Red Kettle concert on Facebook (the Salvation Army set it up. Right now they're showing Andy Grammer, but hopefully soon it'll be Owl City!), and I'm enjoying Andy Grammer. He's probably the first one out of the few artists they've shown that I actually really enjoy listening to.
EDIT: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That is sooo funny! So, I'm watching, waiting for Owl City to come out onto the stage, when all of a sudden I hear on one side of my earbuds some girls saying this:
"Okay, 1, 2, 3... I LOVE YOU RICK!!!" (Rick is a nickname for Adam Young, and it's sorta an Owl Citizen joke)
I love scented candles. Especially the ones with an autumn/winter scent.. such as apple pumpkin or pine. It really makes my room smell like home :)
I'm feeling rather disappointed because the sound system isn't working very well on the concert. I don't think I'll be able to listen to Owl City tonight. *Sigh* Oh well.

no fun rain i was really sick for 2 weeks my friend thought i was dead
yowza.
i went to the hospital 2 times
wow. I've never been.

Ouch! The only time I've been to the hospital was when I was born or visiting someone.
I went when my brother had bronchitis.
My brother had walking pneumonia once. He had to go to the hospital because he kept throwing up and had a nasty fever. Really nasty. He was kind enough to give it to me and my sister.
aww, brotherly love.
hehe ive been to the hospital at least 5 times 1 time to get tonsils out 2 times cuz i busted some parta me open and 2 times for this sickness
Waht pars did you bust? and how do you get you tonsils out twice?
1 time for tonsils and my chin and forhead
YYYYYAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH
I had a migraine today. >.< I think my brain got scrambled. So I talk backwards now. (Just kidding.)
My stomach isn't happy with me, but I don't know why. WHAT DID I DO?!?!?!

Random thing about me: I just watched The Amazing Spider-Man. It's awesome. Go see it. Now. Right now. Get off of Redwall and go rent it. Now. Goodbye!

What's it about?
It's about Dracula building an hotel for monsters, to protect them from the humans. It's an animated and has nothing to do with vampires sucking blood and stuff.
I already watched the Amazing Spider-Man, and it wasn't as good as the first two. The third was pretty bad.
I smell minty... Lol, I just finished with a shower. ;)
I smel like a tomatoe.
I'm listening to Mary Poppins. Never liked that movie. Too happy.
I cant stand mary poppins.
Me neither.
I love Asian noodles
I like Louis the Molehog from Ice Age: Continental Drift.
I hated that movie.
Yeah, it's not my favorite, but I didn't hate it. It was pretty good for the fourth in a series, in my opinion. ;) Usually by that point the movies just go south. This one wasn't too bad. I still like Louis, though. ;D
The Master is epic.
What was The fourth Ice Age like?
I've never seen it and I wanted to know how good it was.

Well, I thought it was pretty good. It could've been better, but that's just me being snooty and stuff. ::) I didn't particularly enjoy the one scene where all the pirates were singing on their ship, but again, that's just me. I'm not a big musical fan (yet I love music...), so that would probably be why. ;) I thought that there were some funny scenes in it, and I was interested throughout the entire movie. So, it was pretty good. Lol.
Thanks!
I don't like musicals that much because every five minutes, it's like, 'Let's randomly stop the story so we can sing a song!' and it doesn't add anything to the plot at all. >:(
I am a good runner.

I find what you say rather rude because I've been in 3 musicals and really the songs add more to the story then the regular dialougue and I think that just because theres music doesn't mean there can't be a meaning. Like in Les Miserables there was no regular talking unless it was like a whisper in a song or a shout. So that's my opinion.

To be honest, I prefer the company of my dog over the general public, but sooner or later I'm going to have to get a job so I can practice my socialization skills. It'll be hard sometimes, but some say that being out of the house every day can cause you to learn new experiences, and to grow mentally. It can be even easier if you're around someone you feel comfortable with while socializing. Hang in there, I'm almost 19 and I only socialize every once in a while. I know we'll both get there one day.
Wow, I feel like such a wimp. Right now I can barely read what I'm typing I'm crying so hard. I'm not blubbering, just really tearing up. I did NOT like the end of Doomsday! The last scene with the Doctor and Rose just absolutely made me start crying. I'll miss Rose forever!

Random thing about me: I have weird conversations with Cleverbot. Lol, I asked Cleverbot if it was a Doctor Who fan, and it said no. I asked Cleverbot if it was a Sherlock fan and it said no. Ha ha ha ;D I edited it, sometimes my iPads self check does that.
Hey, I got Cleverbot to sing most of Fireflies with me! That's a huge accomplishment by my standards. I also got Cleverbot to think that I was the Doctor's companion, a Time Lady, and that I needed to save the world. Cleverbot is so addicting to talk to lol.
ha ha ha wow really I remember ni like 2010 my friend and I made up a dance to go with fireflies and we had memorized the whole thing

Random fact: I just got late birthday presents. I love 'em! I got All Things Bright and Beautiful (Owl City album), Just Dance 4 (so fun!), a brown sweatshirt (haven't tried it on yet, but it looks awesome) and the board game Scotland Yard (the only game I'll play willingly).
Awesome
I might get to watch the last Sherlock episode tonight! *Squeals in delight* I've been waiting a week to see it!

Oh, yeah, I loved it when he got bored. ;D I like to quote that now. Whenever my friend asks me how I am, I'll just shout out "BORED!" Then I'll pretend I have a gun and shoot at the wall. :P
This is really random, but when I was younger, I definitely wasn't as mature as I am now. I've said things that I regret, and did things I shouldn't have. (Like slamming my cousin's fingers in the door). I'm not feeling sorry for myself though, because it's time to move on, and I'm glad I grew out of those mistakes. While we can't erase our past mistakes, we can look forward to being better. Growing up I didn't really know who I was or what I wanted out of life, and now I do. I suppose it comes from how much older you get.
Yes. Yesterday was our Sister's birthday. We went to a really nice restaurant called Cracker Barrel. (anyone been there?)
Happy birthday! Oh, yum, the Cracker Barrel! I used to go there when I lived near one. I love the little peg game that they had. Lol, I bought one and played with it until the tops of the pegs snapped off and the bottom piece got stuck in the hole.

I got stabbed twice yesterday when the nurse tried to take my blood. She couldn't find my veins, so she tried drawing from my wrist, but that hurt so bad she just took the needle out. Finally I was able to give her blood from the crook of my arm, but my arm had to be locked and stiff. It. Sucked.

My favorite color: Blue
Favorite letter: V (and no I didn't just make that up)

Favorite Book: REDWALL
Favorite season: They all suck! (Winter, way to cold (although there are no bugs). Summer, way to hot (There is the pool but I am starting not to like that as much) . Spring, to much pollen (but the temperature is nice). Fall, again, hay (Nothing good about fall).)
After I killed two mice by smashing them with my hand, I used to have re-occurring dreams of getting mice and squeezing them till they popped. o_O I know, I know.

I used to have two rats. They died (neither decapitated, but one was my fault) and then for a few weeks that's all I could see in my dreams. After a while it got better, but once in a while I see them again. The dreams mainly stemmed from the fear that my dog would eat the rats (before they died) and then on top of that, their deaths.

All I need are Salamandastron, The Long Patrol, and the Rouge Crew to finish the complete collection. 8)

Well, let's say you're more of a nerd than I am. Most of my friends are computer gurus. Great when I need help, but I'm lost when they start talking about any fancy part of a computer or whatnot. And I only play a few games, so yeah.
Yeah. Yeah, computery friends can be helpful when you want to do computery things. Of my main group of friends, I'm the most proficient with software and game files... But I still get lost a lot when some people start talking about computers. Well, really, I'm lost when it comes to anything about hardware.

Today was the first day in a while since I have not made dinner for my family.
We eat a lot.
Today was the day that I excitedly told my brother about Borderlands 2. (That game is so fun! My friend owns it, and he wanted me to try it out while I was at his house. I mostly shot the robot guy that tries to guide you along the barren wasteland. That guy's rude. :P)
Claptrap; don't worry, we all want to kill them.
I had home-made pizza too! My sister and I decided that cheese is the fabric of the universe. Aaanddd then I ate it. Nom.

Favorite letter: V (and no I didn't just make that up)
Favorite word: Cheesecake (although I have never eaten it in my life)
Favorite number: 2 or 24 ( 2 cuz 2+2= 4, 2x2=4, 22=4, and 2 is even and prime. Then 24 just cause it sounds cool)
Favorite Book: REDWALL
Favorite season: They all suck! (Winter, way to cold (although there are no bugs). Summer, way to hot (There is the pool but I am starting not to like that as much) . Spring, to much pollen (but the temperature is nice). Fall, again, hay (Nothing good about fall).)
...V is obviously the best letter... All my characters have V in the name. (Ivar, Rusvul, Vexation, Verdusgreensword)
Same here. I've got Vrendex, Valadash (vermin leaders), Varanim, Avronda, Nevorin (elves), Orvena, Garivna (places), Vala and Vitrix (a fox and his mate).
Don't forget Vatra. :D

I have self-diagnosed RLS (meaning, I've never been tested or anything, but I have all the symptoms of it.). It's really annoying when I'm just sitting, doing school on the computer, and my knee's pressed up against the table, then my leg just goes, "Hey, y'know what would feel good right now? Shaking. A lot of shaking." And then it sounds like there's a mini earthquake 'cause the entire table is vibrating from my knee. Really. Annoying.
(By the way, if you don't know what RLS is, it's Restless Leg Syndrome.)
Oh, that? If I prop up my leg on my tip-toes when I am sitting down, my leg start shaking like that.

Uh, something about me... Well, I'm playing a pirate named Skylights in Disney's Peter Pan Jr., the Musical. I get a whole whopping two lines, plus a bunch of others that are all the pirates cheering and such. But I get a bunch of awesome songs to sing, like "Yo, Ho, Yo, Ho, a Pirate's Life for Me", "Never Smile at a Crocodile", and several other fun ones. ;D AND I GET TO WEAR PANTS DURING THE PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!! I'M SO STINKIN' HAPPY YOU WOULDN'T EVEN BELIEVE IT! (Last year I had to wear an extremely uncomfortable "teacup" skirt that was bright yellow and stopped at my knees. Then I had to wear hot pink stockings that cut off blood circulation to my legs. All this had to be worn for about two hours, and it was very uncomfortable. I did not enjoy that at all. BUT NOW I GET PANTS AND AN AWESOME RED SHIRT! :D)

Yes, he is quite amazing, it's just that I was of the age where I wasn't all that interested in reading books with large and confusing words. Now, I'd probably be quite interested in the series, I just haven't tried reading it again. I do love the Hobbit, though. That one's really good.

To quote a friend of mine. . . "WHO NEEDS 16 GIGS OF RAM?!" My brother needs the 16G for rendering stuff he designs on the computer, but unless you're doing something like that it's not necessary.
I am going to make a fillet knife that has a handle carved like a fish.
Photoshop can cause lag. Minecraft is quite dependent on RAM. Hosting game servers requires a fair amount, as well. More if you want to play on the server while hosting it. Regardless, I don't remember if I have 8G or 16G... I suppose I could put more in whenever I want. My computer has enough slots for 64G if I only use 16G RAM sticks... But 64G is completely unnecessary :P
No kidding. . .

Hey, don't look at me!
One of my nicknames in real life is Dynamite.
I call my best friend Snakey, and sometimes Katniss, depending on her mood.
NMy friend's username is Islandcat, so I sometimes call him Kitty if I want to annoy him. I haven't ever really had a nickname, though, other than usernames and my first initial... Sometimes my parents or some close friends will call me E.
I know your real name, Rusvul... :o
I've never really had a nickname, either. My name is a very flexible, adaptable name, but it just doesn't really generate cool nicknames.
That doesn't surprise me, I've stated it at least once. It's a pretty good name, but it's not my favorite. Can't add six more syllables if I want to keep any semblance of sanity, doesn't make good nicknames, isn't particularly elegant. Hm, at least my last name is cool.
Basically the same with me. Two syllables, not real creative, really common name. But my last named is pretty awesome. ;D
My name fits me pretty well I think. But it doesn't really spawn like a bunch of creative nicknames. Only names that some people use.
I have one nickname. My name is quite uncommon
Is it Bartholomew?
My name is uncommon too! In fact, Erin and Eric are my two most often used nicknames, because people CAN'T SAY MY NAME RIGHT!
My name is one my mother made up, yet I've met at least two or three other people with the same name, one with the exact same spelling. Still, people usually get my name wrong. I've heard SEVERAL mistakes, which I would list here, but they're pretty close to my actual name. :P

I'm watching Bugs Bunny.
I think I have ADHD.
Do you see that as a negative thing, or just a difference from the supposed 'norm?'
Well, I don't view it as a negative thing. I like being me.
I would concur.
I can't wear girly things. Not like I don't want to, more like I mentally can't. It's a psychotic problem. I wear makeup, and it ends up getting smeared. I wear a necklace, and the string snaps. I don't want to even think about what would happen if I wore earrings. Oh, and my family will probably know me as the legging-shredder for many years. Don't ask.
I've decided that Wile E. Coyote is a Time Lord.
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti! So excited!
@Mask: I think the expectation of girls to be 'girly' and guys to be 'manly' is stupid. Maybe at some point it was helpful, but it is no longer.
Aye. But when I wear girly things I think this subconscious urge to destroy them kicks in. It's really weird.
So. . . would you prefer to be a jeweler or a metalworker?
A metalworker. Though I suppose the two could go hand in hand. I know a guy who make chain mail and knives, but also can make some pretty awesome jewelry. But I can't wear jewelry, so metalworker.
I once made a torc, a bracelet, and a circlet out of copper. The bracelet was kind of neat, but the other things were quite literally painful. I think I'll stick to things that fit more easily... Weapons and bracelets and such.

Gender roles and stereotypes need to be abolished
Woah, that is a bit strong there. Gender roles are there for a reason. In general, each gender falls into a set of characteristics, and because of that some genders are better at performing roles than others.

Yes, each gender is generally better suited to some roles however the societal expectations that they should do them is wrong, if someone does not want to do something, they should not have to nor should they be expected to. I'm not saying there is no merit to gender roles, I'm saying that people should be allowed to do whatever they want and not just conform to society's expectations. It is just easier for society to not have those expectations at all.
I'm not sure I have any unique insight here, but I must say, I agree with you entirely, Jet. Well said.
Beware of young male cousins bearing foam swords and nerf guns.
Tchah. I have no need to beware of them. With my cardboard tower shield and my foam cutlass I shall vanquish them. (Alternately, swap out the tower shield for my wonderful rubber-band flintlock pistol. Works just as well.) :D
Several years of summer camp involving hitting other people with foam things has left me pretty good at it.
All my life I thought I didn't have a cousin my age, and now I find out that I've had a cousin my age for nine years.
...Wouldn't you have had to have a cousin your age for a little longer than that for them to be your age?
Hm, unless nine years ago someone got married. That would also make sense, I suppose.
He is my step-grandpa's only biological grandson. I see him about once a year.
I watched four episodes of SNK in a row, and now my brain hurts for some reason. Seriously, it's only ninety-six minutes of anime, why would that fry my brain? :P
I should also probably go upload some art, but I don't think I'm mentally prepared to stare at a computer screen for the next hour, editing smears off the paper.
Woah. You do that?
Y'know, I'd offer to help, but I don't currently have access to photoshop. Or very much practice with it at all.

Yeah, my paper quality is horrible, and I do most of my art in the car, so I end up with a lot of dark spots when it's uploaded. That's why I'm hesitant to upload large quantities of art, 'cause I then have to spend FOREVER staring at a white screen, making my eyes water as I try to clean up the pages. It's a tedious process, and is one of the many reasons I want an art tablet. :P
Now that I think about that, maybe I should start adding some sort of background to the images... I wouldn't have to clean up clouds of partially erased pencil smears, then. At least, not all of them. Then again, that might distract from the main subject of the drawing... GAH! SCANNER! WHY YOU NO SCAN COLOUR?! THIS WOULD BE SO MUCH EASIER IF YOU COULD JUST SCAN COLOUR! THEN I COULD HAVE A WAY TO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN PEOPLE AND SCENERY!
...I don't like my scanner.
I don't mind our scanner. :P
I don't have a scanner.
I only have a scanner at one house. It works pretty well. But in general, I prefer using my computer for art. It's REALLY annoying to not be able to CTRL+Z.
I am in the process of drawing a very big project.
I'm in the process of still procrastinating the scanning of my drawings. Partially because not all my requests are done, even though it's been so long since I last updated the art thread, and partially because of the stupid editing process.
@Skarzsy-chan: Care to shed some light on the project, or is it top secret? (I do have a guess as to what it is, but I'd rather not sound presumptuous if it turns out to not be what I expected it to be. :P)

You made that post at 3:43 EST, so that's 12:43 PST, which is your time, if I am not mistaken. Soo... Not as late as I usually am awake, though if it was I'd probably be better off for it. Wouldn't it just be so nice if there was only one time zone? But alas, that's impossible, unless we were to force every human into one time zone, thus making it so that we don't have to figure out times. :P
Random: This will be the first time in my entire life that I've gone to a family Christmas party without my parents. My mom came down with what looked to be a cold yesterday, but now she has a pretty high fever, so she and my dad are going to the doctor to see if she has the flu. Then they're both gonna stay home so my dad can look after my mom. So, yeah, me and my siblings are going to our family's annual Christmas party without my parents.

I hate Bradford pear trees. They smell like decaying flesh during the spring, cover the ground with their fruit, and attract hordes of unwanted birds, like starlings and sparrows. And, as if the ones people have planted weren't already enough, they're spreading into the wild too. I cannot fathom why so many people plant them, and when I'm old enough to own a house, I will take great joy out of removing every single pear tree on my property.
. . . . People like pears. . . . . And sparrows, I think, are good for gardens. . . .
I like candy canes. They're my favorite non-healthy sweet.
I'm posting this here because I don't think it would be good to post in the actual thread but if I ever met Winters from Adventure to Gadna, I'd go to town on him, seriously he's the most stuck-up, unpleasant and annoying character in the thing so far, people like him rub me the wrong way

I know what 'go to town' means, Jet. My dad uses the expression all the time.
Yes but that was for people who didn't. Also, it apparently has other, inappropriate meanings
Oh. Oh. Gotcha.
Random fact: My parents got to go to the Christmas party today! :D My grandma convinced my mom that, even though she had the flu (not the stomach bug, the actual flu), it would still be okay for her to come. I mean, we didn't get to go to the traditional Christmas Eve party at my mom's cousin's house, but we all at least got to go to my grandma's house for presents and such. (And my cousin's daughter's first Christmas. ^-^ Lol, she nearly beat my little cousins with the amount of presents she got. :P)

Bradford pear trees don't even make real pears. They're just tiny little fruits that I'm not sure are even edible. Sparrows are sometimes good for gardens, but those really aggressive introduced European sparrows get on my nerves.

You really need to read
Heroes of Olympus.
No, from what I've heard of it from everyone here, it isn't a very good book...
What are you talking about? This forum either loves it or hasn't read it. Seriously, I've seen one negative comment about it, bar yours
I'm not a Percy Jackson fanatic, perhaps I can be of help.
It's a good book series, definitely worth reading if you care at all. The main idea behind the books is that all the greek gods are still alive, and sometimes they and their (Modern) demigod children have to fight wars against monsters. The story centers around Percy Jackson, a son of Poseidon, for the first five books, as he fights off Titans in a massive war, and becomes a hero.
The second five books are based around the idea that the Roman gods exist also, and that they are one and the same as the Greek gods- Different aspects, same gods. So a son of Zeus and a son of Jupiter would be slightly different in their abilities, powers, and personalities. In the first few of the second five books, the story centers around a son of Jupiter, Jason something. (I don't remember his last name, I don't think Jason was a very memorable character) It then (If I'm not mistaken) centers around both Jason and Percy, as well as the rest of the cast, and they do stuff. Having not read very much of the last five books, I couldn't tell you.
I wouldn't call the characters spectacular, but most of them are pretty distinct. While the way it uses Greek and Roman mythology may not be entirely original, it is one of the few times I've seen mythological/modern fiction done well (The other being The Alchemyst, by Michael Scott- Which is very good) I think if you have a library and some spare time, you should read them.

I've been playing a waltz on the piano for about a year. I hate this waltz now. I don't even know who wrote it, but it's very infuriating, 'cause you have to stretch your hands to the absolute limit (AKA an octave or more) to play all the chords. NEARLY EVERY NOTE IS A CHORD THAT STRETCHES AN OCTAVE. This waltz is also what I like to call an "angry" waltz, as it's in a minor key and is fortissimo for the majority of the piece. It's also fast. Very fast.
Sooo... yeah, I hate that waltz. I'm so sick and tired of it, but I haven't been able to pass it.
